How to Use a Vacuum Pump HVAC?
During the installation and maintenance of air conditioners, the step of vacuuming is often used. There are two purposes of vacuuming, one is to check the air-tightness of the air conditioning system, and the other is to remove the non-condensable gas and moisture in the pipeline as much as possible!
After the HVAC vacuum pump, and HVAC vacuum pump gauges are firmly connected, start the vacuuming process:
Unscrew the manifold gauges low-pressure valve and close the high-pressure valve at the same time.
Plug the power plug of the HVAC vacuum pump into apoweredsocket.
When using the HVAC vacuum pump, first remove the HVAC vacuum pump intake cap and connect the system that needs to be evacuated. At this time, it should be noted that the distance between the HVAC vacuum pump and the system is as short as possible.
Then check whether the connection of the HVAC vacuum pump inlet is tight, and check whether the connection of the HVAC vacuum pump of the vacuumed system is tightly sealed. Only when the connection of the HVAC vacuum pump inlet is tightened, the system and the HVAC vacuum pump are connected reliably, you can proceed to the next step.
After all the preparation work is done,open the exhaust cap on the HVAC vacuum pump trap, turn on the HVAC vacuum pump power switch, and the HVAC vacuum pump starts to run.
After waiting for the HVAC vacuum pump to work for 20 minutes (the time depends on the specific usage), close the manifold gauge low-pressure valve. Then turn off the power switch of the HVAC vacuum pump, and at the same time note the scale indicated by the low-pressure manifold gauge needle!
After turning off the HVAC vacuum pump and waiting for another 20 minutes, if the manifold gauge scale indicated by the low-pressure gauge remains unchanged, it proves that the system is airtight. The vacuuming process is complete.
If the scale indicated by the low-pressure gauge needle slowly approaches the O scale from negative pressure, it proves that there is a leak in the system; it is necessary to find the leak, handle the interface, and re-vacuum with the AC vacuum pump!
After using the HVAC vacuum pump, close the valve between the HVAC vacuum pump and the pumped system, turn off the power switch on the HVAC vacuum pump, and unplug the power connector of the HVAC vacuum pump.
Remove the pipe connecting the system and HVAC vacuum pump
Finally, close the intake cap and exhaust cap to prevent dirt or floating particles from entering the HVAC vacuum pump cavity.
